KARYE MCCORD

Hey y’all I’m Karye Lynn McCord and I’m 21! I am married to the sweetest (and cutest) man ever Lynn McCord! Did I mention he’s a preacher?! ;) We are now Youth Leaders at Endville Baptist Church! Anywho, It’s always been a dream of mine to produce a magazine. I have always loved design and writing. The older I’ve gotten, the more I realize how much negativity and hate is in the world. I’m actually a mail carrier, so I read tons of magazine covers weekly. One Saturday as I was sorting through them I began to think about making my own magazine that has nothing but positive attributes and is Christ based. I knew I couldn’t do it alone so I text an old friend, (you can read about her in the next column) Hayden, and thus The Positive for Christ was born. This magazine, this blog, this ministry really is my whole heart because it’s the only thing I know how to do. My only prayer for this whole entire thing is that it just brings one person encouragement to keep on in the cause for Christ

HAYDEN JENKINS

Hi! I am Hayden Jenkins. I am 20 years old, and I am a Sunday School teacher at the church I attend.  I went on my first mission trip to the Philippines this past year, and it was an eye-opening experience! It brought me so much closer to God! He then allowed me to go on another mission trip at the end of this past year. You can actually read about these experiences and the experiences of the others under the Mission Works tab.  I am so glad he saw fit to use me, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to use "The Positive for Christ" as a platform to edify Him! I pray that he uses me in whatever way he sees fit! To God be the glory!
